finding answers

I’ve shared with a lot of parents, students and professionals during my mindfulness classes. These responses help them assess how this self-care approach can improve the quality of their lives (and that of their loved ones).

what is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the intentional awareness of our bodily sensations, thoughts, emotions & surroundings. How is that useful, you ask? As we pause to observe, the respite activates our rest-and-digest mode (the parasympathetic nervous system). For many adults and children, they experience feelings of peace, calm and openness. Extrapolate that out systematic corporate training and the advantages include: better decision-making, increased creativity and improved communication.

When I teach families and schools, kids learn accessible techniques for concentration, and for coping with their emotional development. My corporate workshop agenda includes the science and benefits of mindfulness, and several experiential techniques.

Beyond the intellectual rigour, join one of my upcoming group classes, or schedule a private session or a corporate workshop.
